1% of every subscription funds permanent carbon removal.

It comes out of what we earn, not out of your price: €9 stays €9. The money goes to young companies building ways to take CO₂ out of the air and lock it away for more than a thousand years.

Where the money goes

  1. You pay for your planNothing is added to your price.
  2. Stripe processes the paymentOur payment provider handles every subscription.
  3. 1% goes to Stripe ClimateSet aside automatically, within about a minute of each payment.
  4. Frontier picks the projectsScientists and outside reviewers choose who gets funded.
  5. Carbon removal companiesPaid to remove CO₂ and store it permanently.

What it pays for

Permanent carbon removal: capturing CO₂ straight from the air, turning it into rock, locking it into the ocean's chemistry, or storing it deep underground. Not tree-planting credits.

Who picks the projects

Frontier's science team, backed by more than 60 outside technical reviewers. For larger contracts, removal is verified by a third party before the supplier is paid.

What it costs you

Nothing extra. The 1% comes out of our revenue. Your plan price stays exactly the same.

Why fund it this early

Carbon removal works today, but it is expensive and tiny. It gets cheaper the same way solar panels and hard drives did: by being bought, built and improved at scale.

Early buyers are what get it there. Frontier only funds approaches that keep carbon stored for over a thousand years and have a path to becoming affordable.

Our own servers

We haven't measured KEA.Page's own emissions yet, so we don't publish a number for it — and we don't use the 1% to cancel it out.

What we can tell you: your published page is built once, when you press Publish, then stored and delivered as a compressed static file by Bunny.net, a European CDN. This site works the same way. Nothing is re-rendered on every visit.

What we don't claim

  • It does not make KEA.Page, your page or your plan “carbon neutral”.
  • It does not offset our emissions or yours.
  • Not every project will succeed. Funding new technology means some attempts fail — that is part of the deal.
  • If a payment is refunded, the contribution made on it is not returned.

Questions

Does this make my plan more expensive?

No. The 1% is taken from our share of each payment. Prices on the pricing page are what you pay.

Why don't you say you're carbon neutral?

Because funding carbon removal isn't the same as not emitting. We'd rather tell you exactly what we do than use a label that sounds bigger than it is.

Can I see where the money goes?

Yes. Frontier publishes its whole portfolio, with how much carbon each company has contracted and delivered. The links below go straight to it.

Our contribution runs through Stripe Climate. The projects are chosen by Frontier, which also publishes how its purchases work.
